DR. MOHSEN SHIRI-GARAKANI, PHD
Dr. Shiri-Garakani is a theoretical physicist, and Associate Professor at Pace University in New York, USA. He received his doctorate from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2004. He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in physics, astronomy, mathematics, and geology amongst others.
His academic interests are in two areas: a unified quantum theory of space and time, and philosophy of contemporary physics.
Dr. Shiri-Garakani’s support is for Terra’s Chapter 1 division, as technical consultant for developing our higher-education science and technology-oriented scholarship programs in the regions where we work.
Dr. Shiri-Garakani’s non-academic interests include human rights and politics, music and art, and language and culture.
